Marco Pavone and researchers open autonomous robotics learning to the world

Marco Pavone, professor of aeronautics and astronautics and SRC Executive Committee member, has co-authored Principles of Robot Autonomy (PoRA). The textbook, based on a Stanford course series by the same name, optimizes learning with the accompanying PoRA website, which features videos, homework assignments, open-source code, and more. The book is also available freely online.

“I truly believe that the mission of a university is sharing knowledge. Autonomous robotics is one of the generational technologies out there, and so it behooves us to share it with the public.”
- Marco Pavone
