Gecko Gripper

Objects of various shapes and sizes are grasped and manipulated by Flexiv's multi-modal gripper. The gripper operates in a standard parallel pinching mode for precision handling of small objects, then converts to gecko grasping mode for handling of large objects that exceed the size of the gripper itself. In gecko grasping mode, the gripper's force control capability, paired with proprietary gecko adhesive material, enable it to lift heavy objects with only a gentle squeeze.
